12.5b Patch In League of Legends Has Released

As quoted from Riot Phlox’s tweet, League of Legends players receive a small patch.

Riot Phlox is one of the designers of the Summoner’s Rift team.

He give us a list of the changes that players can expect in the upcoming “12.5b” patch.

Some adjustments bringing by the developers at Riot Games to the popular champions in the game.

The following champions will receive a buff in the upcoming patch:

  • Master Yi
  • Varus
  • Draven
  • Ashe
  • Lucian

We can see that the buff of Master Yi is expected in the first place.

As we know that, previously he received a hotfix nerf by Riot Games.

And it extremely decreased his win rate percentage in the ranked games.

With the buff above, devs hope that he can come back as a possible choice.

All the other champions are marksmen.

They needed a buff to face a lot of defensive items present in the game now.

To survive and deal with the damage in game, they need to boost their basic attack, skills, or stats to get the best result.

The following champions will be hit with the nerf hammer by Riot Games:

  • Ryze
  • Zeri
  • Jinx
  • Aphelios

Since the released of Zeri in season 12, Zeri, Jinx, and Aphelios are the contested choice for the bottom land both in ranked and E-sport matches.

Therefore, it is not a surprise seeing that Zeri, Jinx, and Aphelios position here.

The most picked ADC in current global competitive play is Jinx.

She has a high 83 percent pick-ban rate.

In the second position is Aphelios.

Aphelios is has a 64 percent pick-ban rate.

At the same time, he also has the second-highest pick count among drafted champions.

As cited from esportsgen,  her high mobility and insane burst damage affect Zeri’s position.

She is third-most bans of any champion featured in the competitive matches with 1067 bans across all regions.

The patch 12.5b is already release on March, 9th.

Let’s see the result of this patch!
