The Team of the Year is something the players have long been part of. With too few slots, a ton is understandably set to miss out on the privilege, but EA Sports also needs to honor the contributions of the up-and-coming players during the season.
One of the players that was given a special TOTY Honorable Mention spot was Marcel Sabitzer, a Midwayer. The 26-year-old was excellent for RB Leipzig, helping the German squad reach the UEFA Champions League semi finals in the 2019-20 season.
