League of Legends streamer Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani joined up with FlyQuest as its new official affiliate and influencer in an attempt to support FlyQuest #BeeQuest effort to save the bees.

Since retiring from the Professional League of Legends at the end of the 2014 season, Voyboy has maintained a cultural presence and raised tens of thousands of dollars for numerous humanitarian projects.

It’s hard to argue that the kid’s genius is the best match for the #FlyFam.

FlyQuest’s environmentally aware corporate rebrand for the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series saw the organisation save trees, aquatic animals, and now bees by setting in-game activities that cause donations during the 2021 LCS season.

As of January 22nd, FlyQuest will donate money to The Bee Conservancy for any FlyQuest win of the 2021 LCS season.

Donations will also be activated by every kill and every Ocean Drake secured by either team in a FlyQuest game.

“Over the course of my career, I’ve always tried my best to make a positive impact and stand up (or sit down) for the causes I believe in,” said Voyboy. “FlyQuest resonates with me because they’re a team that really strives to make the world a better place.” Boy Genius will be streaming under the FlyQuest banner at twitch.tv/voyboy this year, with plenty of fun events scheduled for the 2021 LCS season.

“I met Joey at IPL4 in 2012, and having worked with him before, I really wanted to work with him again at FlyQuest,” said Tricia Sugita, CEO of FlyQuest. “Joey represents so many of our ideals, such as appreciation, positivity, thoughtfulness, and generosity of spirit. Joey’s a perfect match for FlyQuest, and we’re very happy for the chance to show greatness together.”
