The quarter-finals of the 2021 LCS Lock The knockout stage ended and the semi-finals were scheduled. The first quarter-final match was between 100 Robbers and Immortals.
Despite a remarkable performance for the IMT Academy roster—particularly by jungler Nicholas James Joseph “Potluck” Pollock—100 swept the best-of-three series and went on to the semi-finals.
Golden Guardians squared off against Evil Geniuses with GG mid-laner Nicholas ‘Ablazeolive’ Abbott just narrowly getting a start on temporary health problems. EG’s top laner Jeong “Impact” Eon-young tried to play the immaculate Renekton game he had played during the young season, but EG sniffed his lead with an incomplete dive and Rift Herald use. Still, EG managed to close Game 1 and then, more decisively, Game 2 and the series.

The final series starred Team Liquid jungler Lucas “Santorin” Larsen facing off against his former team, FlyQuest. Both Santorin and FLY jungler Brandon Joel “Josedeodo” Villegas missed the first week of the LCS Lock In due to visa problems, and although the jungle matchup was relatively tight, the gap between the other players on Team Liquid and FlyQuest gave TL a 2-0 win and a ticket to the semifinals.
100 Robbers will square off against Cloud9 in the best-of-five series, and Wicked Geniuses will face Team Liquid on the other side of the bracket.
The two semi-finals will take place on Saturday, January 30, and the two champions will play in the best-of-five finals on Sunday, January 31.
