Given the popularity of Call of Duty: Warzone in its first year, it may not be shocking why there is a need for a new map around the community. And according to the trusted platform of Modern WarZone, it may be on the cards as soon as March 2021.
We understand that the new #Warzone map rumored to be coming in March will be an 8×8 Grid sized map.
The source for this information was provided to us anonymously, but we can confirm the validity.
Unsure if there will be any big changes to what we know thus far.

According to Current WarZone, the latest map would be an 8×8 grid-Verdansk is 9×9 for comparison. So you can appreciate the kind of size you’re expecting here.
As Rebirth Island was dropped on Dec.16, it wasn’t supposed to be a major war map, but it didn’t mean the fans weren’t subdued anyway.
Given that Rebirth Island itself is strongly inspired by Black Ops, it is not shocking that the latest map is said to go deeper with Black Ops Cold War Fireteam maps as a dominant force.
So, will there be an even bigger crossover in the future? With both Black Ops and Fireteam implementation, any new map in Warzone will certainly have to be out of the planet.
