Evan “Cented” Barron is a Canadian Fortnite player.
Cented joined FaZe Clan in March 2021
Previously, he played for Team Liquid.
He was quite active with his Fortnite stream
And also he was one of the most popular Fortnite personalities from North America.
But now, he is not longer part of Faze Clan.
Yesterday, (July, 4) FaZe post a statement on their official account.
“FaZe is constantly evolving and we expect our members to do the same. Cented is permanently removed from FaZe due to his use of hate speech. We, and the gaming community at large can’t tolerate discriminatory language any longer.”
This is not the first time for FaZe Clan.
The American E-sports organization banned its members several times in the past for using racial slurs.
This time the famous Fortnite streamer Evan “Cented” Barron who streamed for FaZe Clan got kicked out by the organization
Due to his hate speech during a live stream.
In the live stream, Cented joined a voice chat lobby
Then, used the n-word to greet the other players within that lobby.
This was quite surprising to the players.
Thereafter, FaZe Clan officially declared that they have permanently removed Cented from the organization.
FaZe Clan’s decision is meticulous
As hate speeches are rising in the community.
Furthermore, there is still no official statement from Epic Games related to this issue
In the other side, Cented still gives no clues for his next steps.
