If you’ve been struggling to queue for a rated game for the past few hours, don’t stress about it. You’re not the only one.
Riot Games currently disabled the ranked queues for the tactical shooter in Valorant to fix the underlying bug in user custom in-game settings.

For the uncertain, Riot was researching a problem where the player’s custom keystrokes and other in-game configurations will be randomly reset at the start of the game.
It seems like this issue has caused Riot to briefly disable the rated queue for Valorant in order to prevent those players from being put at a disadvantage in important games.
The rated queue is scheduled to return live as soon as the bug is patched by the developers, which is likely to take at most a few hours.
VALORANT players can fine-tune their configurations to figure out what fits best, and minor adjustments can destroy their muscle memory.
The bug will also not be found until players will also queue for other game modes, such as Unrated, Spike Rush, or Deathmatch. Some players announced that the entire lobby was having a problem that could spoil the speed and outcome of the early rounds.
However, the issue can also exist and you may need to readjust your in-game settings manually if they are reset automatically.
