The League of Legends Accidental Error with the Login Session problem is a typical annoyance to Riot Games’ acclaimed MOBA.
This mistake stops players from signing in their Riot Account and playing League of Legends online. Luckily, there’s a very simple solution to the dilemma.
If you’re currently having issues logging in because you can’t exit out the client. Try pressing ALT+F4 on the error screen. Open up the client again and while loading, there should be a short time frame to press the X in the top corner. This may help some players.

The LoL Unexpected Mistake with the Login Session problem can be overcome in only three simple steps:
- Press Alt + F4 on the LoL client and click “sign out”
- Close all instances of RiotClientServices.exe and LeagueofLegends.exe in Task Manager
- Reopen LoL
The first move is to keep Alt + F4 when clicking on the Legends League client and sign in. When performing this move, you must make sure that you press “sign out” and not “exit”
The second move is to open the Task Manager by either pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc or Ctrl+Alt+Delete. When in Task Manager, close all RiotClientServices.exe and LeagueofLegends.exe instances. To do this, pick each instance of a program and press the “End task” button.
The final move is to reopen the League of Legends and the Riot Games! User, try signing in again. If the mistake persists, repeat these actions and make sure to close the KillerServiceNetwork.exe software in the Task Manager. This software will restrict the use of your bandwidth for League of Legends and cause you to disconnect.
